The UK Communities Conference is an annual weekend gathering which explores and celebrates intentional community in Britain. We promote collaboration between communities and seek to build a stronger communities movement. The conference brings together people who already live in intentional community alongside those who are curious or are planning to set up or join communities, as well as people with a research interest in communities.

This is an event for anyone interested in a more co-operative and sustainable way of life. Whether you’re just getting curious about living communally or have done so for years, join us at our next event, or have a look at our archive of recorded sessions.

9th to 12th July 2026 (TBC), Braziers Park, Oxfordshire

We've got dates set aside for the 2026 event, when we'll be returning to Braziers Park in Oxfordshire. We'll be putting a call for contributions out in the spring, and tickets are likely to be available from around March. To keep updated about our plans, you can sign up to our mailing list at the bottom of this page.

Further Plans

We are interested in new ideas and venues for the conference. If you are part of a community or are interested in helping host a future event then please get in touch. We are also wanting to explore different formats, including urban and day-long events, and events with different financial models.
